The mission of Foundation Todos Juntos is to support public health projects, provide scholarships for students, and assist educational institutions such as language schools for non-Guatemalans in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.
The quality of life for families and communities improves when people are given access to education and healthcare. The Foundation therefore supports organizations that help those in need, by providing financial aid for education, healthcare and public health projects, and social welfare projects in Highland Guatemala.
The Foundation’s largest area of support is currently in various Educational Projects which were developed to confront illiteracy and improve the overall education level of families. The funded projects include: La Guardería Todos Juntos (daycare, preschool, and after school programs); the Pop Wuj Scholarship Project; and a School and ongoing Hurricane Stan relief in Xeabaj II.
Foundation Todos Juntos supports Public Health Projects which are designed to confront prevalent local problems and improve daily life for Guatemalans in the Western Highlands including: Stove building, to replace dangerous, unhealthy, and inefficient open fires in the home; Reforestation, to prevent further erosion and mudslides; and Educational public health outreach in various communities.
