An announcement from Safe Passage:
Safe Passage invites women to come share a journey with other like-minded women. Spend a week experiencing another culture like never before while making a real difference in people’s lives.
We offer you the special chance to meet and volunteer side-by-side with women and children from the program in Guatemala and others from around the world. As pioneer participants in a “Women’s Week” at Safe Passage, you’ll be able to volunteer in areas of social services, education, health & beauty, cooking, jewelry-making, and gardening as you develop an understanding of and connection to the mission of the organization.
Dates: Sunday, September 12 - Sunday, September 19, 2010.
Cost: $595 for in-country expenses (includes hotel, meals, transportation, Safe Passage activities & guide) plus a $200 donation per person. Please note that airfare to and from Guatemala is separate.
