Volunteer Opportunity: Physical Therapists

Children’s Aid Missions has equiped a pediatric physical therapy room in Santo Tomas, Milpas Altas, Sacatepequez.  The room is operational, and they are recruiting physical therapists to go there and do a rotation, and help train parents on what they need to do.  Contact Judy at jfschwank@yahoo.com for more information.

A five year old boy in the Panajachel area needs surgery on one of his hips for bilateral hip dysplasia.  If anyone knows of an visiting orthopedic surgery team, or surgeon in Guatemala who does charitable work, please contact us ASAP.
